Artist's Description

The raised ridges and the shape of the green covered rocks reminded me of some ancient whale or dinosaur skeleton when viewed from this angle.
No it wasn’t anything like I thought… but just lichen covered rocks along the shoreline at Smythe’s Creek on the Great Ocean Road near Apollo Bay.

100 Views: 24 December 2012.

Olympus E-30, Zuiko 12-60mm SWD, 26mm, f/22, 2.5 sec., ISO 100 + ND Filter 0.9
