Looking down the spiral staircase from the Lookout Tower in the Daylesford Botanical Gardens. This lookout platform is accessed via a narrow concrete spiral staircase lined with graffitti and tags. The view from the lookout is great as the tower is located on the top of Wombat Hill.

Great Angle & point of view John Thanks Francis
Hi Francis. Thanks for the favourite and your thoughts. I have always been trying to get a good shot of a spiral staircase. This was interesting, but a very cramped space. It was a bit strange because it was in the gardens of a small country town leading to a lookout tower!

Superbly captured John love the POV.
Thanks for comments Julie. It was one of the few times I was in a position looking from above.

Terrific work1

Wonderful perspective and a great shot.
Hi Hany. Thanks for the visit and comment. A narrow stairway required a tight perspective!

Well spotted and taken, superb angle makes for a good abstract image.
Hi David. Thanks for your supportive comments and visit. I have a liking for spiral staircases, but this was pretty dirty, narrow and difficult to get a shot, until I got to the top and looked down.
