Megalong Valley Campfires
If Angels of smoke could carry my prayers Crackling a beat, my heart shifts old wares We’d sit there for hours tilting our heads Warming our souls, calling king dead
The space we created was vast in expanse Enlightening, connected, fires at a glance Nodding my head, lines straight to heaven Forward then back eleven-eleven?
A repeating of numbers, hints of mystery The fire-within, ancient-you history Stars on the ground, fires in sky Seering the heavens opens third eye
Stories of love, a sword guards the garden Fire’s fingertips stroking for pardon Angels of smoke, ascending in song Sparks are our souls… longing to belong
Hey John, I so love the total chaos in this radiating from that central nucleus of fire. I also love that you use gold leaf in this… and 429 cm x 134 cm?? I can only speculate at how awesome this must look in real life. Thanks for bringing back your cool stuff!! PS: JOL`s a cool dude… I knew he`d dig this too!

Wonderful painting, progressive and having historical continuity – I like that, also the literary references really add dimension, I think.
