four of these panels with straw “sewn” on by hand. I added canvas to help with the stitching process. I have about 15 pricks to my fingers and it took 3 days to do. I also stapled black bird netting over the whole straw section to prevent blowing straw everywhere.

first panel took about 3and half hours, the last one took just over an hour, nothing like slave labour repetition to increase output eh?

not going to be too opaque with canvas and straw??

It could be, I’ve decided to ad lib when I install it the day before, I’ll hop inside and may have to cut slits in the canvas. I can also move the straw from the outside by hand. I’m setting it up tonight and testing it in the backyard.
