“Tiger Eye”; I think that pretty much sums it up. Intensity, purity, commitment, awareness – all embodied in a Tigers gaze. That’s what I was trying to capture. The lion holds the title as the King of Beasts but to me the tiger has all of that AND a certain sophisticated air – like it would wonder about you before it ate you. I’m very curious how you all will receive this one; such an undeniably beautiful animal but, on the other hand, possibly frightening, too. Which plays for you in this piece?
