The premise of this piece was purely about simplicity and beauty. To create an image that called me back to a simpler time when I wandered without worry. I wanted to use very little in the composition to accomplish that mood. Perhaps the message here is to look back to those simpler times in your life, remember, and draw some strength from it. There’s still beauty and wonder out there . . .

John Robichaud began his artistic journey as a documentary filmmaker creating programming for PBS and Discovery Channel. His fifteen years of experience in the field, observing and exposing nature’s beauty on film, helped to develop and hone a unique “eye” for capturing dramatic composition and light. Today he brings his deep appreciation and love of the natural world to his collection of art prints.
