Some of the best farming land in Victoria. Taken south of Drouin near Heath Hill in Gippsland. The courageous old eucalyptus tree was damaged in a severe storm but will survive for many years to come.
This picture was made on an ordinary day but it does convey the typical countryside here in Gippsland. Olympus E5 with its 14-54mm zoom lens. . This image has been featured by the " One Tree at a Time" and “Country Bumpkin” Groups

Thank you Tracy for your kind comment. You have great colour in the fall in your trees – we have some spectacular eucalypts that are covered in blossom but otherwise out trees are evergreen. (I chose not to say non-deciduos because my great big flowering gum is always making a terrible mess of fallen leaves, blossom., and gum nuts.).
