Brilliant capture and I love your composition. Well doneJohn.

  • Thanks for your kind comment Ralph.
I must say that this image surprised me,. The colours in this slide, taken many years ago, have held up well and the scanned image is better than I expected.

Gorgeous image and great capture. Congratulations on feature, I’m sure there’ll be more.

  • Hello machka. Thanks. We seem to have similar photographic preferences. Your portfolio is very interesting. I am wondering where you live to have access to so many beautiful locations.

Hi John, I had a look at your portfolio and I see what you mean. I live in Melbourne, but most of my photos are from trips overseas. I love to travel and I love taking photos, so I combine the two.

  • Thanks machka for your reply. Are you a member of any of the camera clubs here in Melbourne?.

In reply to your question, I am not a member of any camera clubs. I simply haven’t had the time to join any clubs; my family keeps me very busy. I am an amateur photographer and I mainly take photos whilst on holidays. I plan to take this hobby more serioulsy when I have more time at my disposal.
