the frost is alive today
for it has ended forward wits of the day
I with my shining sun
Her with her glimmering moon
when time and times are done
her time shall come soon
my sun, my sun
O glory for my sun
the heats, the savors, the immediate flavors!
all variations cometh from day
for her moon and the night
i with the faeries so delight
myself in her company
all variations cometh from night
For do not dwell upon the torment of her gaze
She hath not the Gorgon’s eye
she leaves men sane and continued lives!
She plays her part well
But i with sadden eyes doth swell
to her go and my bright age doth arise
Yet like Titus to his butchered babe Lavinia i sympathize
For rational wit had ought to cover up with a veneer
O sweet covering dost mine sin enchant me?
Yea, for my one heart defeats a thousand
withal a double -bladed sword at my dispatch
whence at my side doth love latch
She was my reigning star at my nativity
my forlorn past to forgetful pastimes
Yet i mere saw her reflection as one that comes from the winged seraph
a cupid of mine heart forever
for shone more than the mineral jasper
adn with luster far more intesified than sapphire
For her aged comings hath ransomed me
adn for her gild i bequeth my heart
adn give my eternal
bless us O Erato
may thy blessing build as rewards,
may thy blessings build as rewards,
