Summer @ McIntyre Bluff, Vaseux Lake, BC., Canada
To most people of the Southern Okanagan, the sight of McIntyre Bluff, looming huge and dark just south of Vaseux Lake, is a familiar sight. The Bluff took its name from “Uncle Pete” McIntyre, a well-known figure of old-time days, who made his home at its foot.     Had it not been for the pole and wires, I would swear this was taken in the late 19th century. Wonderful scenery and the black and white works really well. I love that bank of clouds, competing with the … bute/mountain/cliff.

    Well, building a house there kind of limits the directions the road can take unless you want to approach from the top. Amazing landscape.
