I have taken many photos of this during the past week but I wasn’t happy with the results. In closeup, the stems were too waterlogged, translucent and reflective giving ugly highlights vs shadows. see sample image –
This time, I cut off the roots and let the shrooms dry for an afternoon, and shot it in HDR with nature light and a mirror to fill in the shadow.
