Challenge Winner Candid Camera in Pacific Northwest

Featured in Moody and Evocative, #1 Artists Of RedBubble, Pacific Northwest, Too Bright!, The Best Of Red Bubble, High Quality Images

2009 Peach Fest Snowbirds canceled due to heavy smoke from fires around the region.
Just as I feared, the planes took to the sky and called it quits after five minutes. Can’t blame them.
Munson Mountain, Penticton, BC., Canada

See below how heavy the smoke was with a “properly exposed” frame. You can almost make out where the sky meets the lake at bottom-left.

Nice sillhouette and contra-jour. Maybe you were lucky to even get that considering the circumstances………………..

Wow, not only is it amazing on its own with the planes against the peach sky, but the silhouettes of the people in the foreground really add to it . I love it

  • Thank you for the awesome comment! Cheers, Kirsten :)

What a beautiful picture, I love the colour… It looks to dangerous with that heavy smoke for sure.
