John Peel

Sydney, AUSTRALIA

My photographs have been exhibited in London and Sydney, most recently and for the second time at the Barry Stern Galleries in Paddington. Books include A Different Light (an outsider’s Australia) and That Place Called New South Wales. In my latest publication, Song for a Wren (available through Lesley McKay’s Bookshop, Queen Street, Woollahra), my photographs accompany a collection of country poems by David Campbell, one of Australia’s greatest lyric poets.

Please note:
Since July 16, 2010, I have been on extended leave from RedBubble and have contributed no new work. Please excuse the lack of comments or responses — but special thanks and best wishes to all those who have given me such generous encouragement (you know who you are!). You have all been good friends and I will miss you.

Please also note:
Due to problems with RedBubble, I have now (March 2011) withdrawn all my RedBubble images from public view — at least for the time being.. Sorry about that…

To see my exhibited work, please go to www.maunsellwickes.com.au, then to “exhibitions” and scroll down to June 2010 and May 2008
