I forget the most trivial things

And I find it hard to recall…..............
The names of every English King
Who they married
And their bastard kin
I also forget the
Bigger things
Like the stain left by every sin
Jesus and Magdalene
Who is in the photograph?
Why sculptors rarely dance
Even the beauty of
Happenstance
Who knows?
I might eventually forget
The yin and yang
Of regret
But worst of all
Never recall
How brown sugar falls
But I know….............
How in the end
All your angels descend
