A Little Bit of Dada - A found poem by a schizophrenia sufferer
A found poem.
The title is mine…...otherwise the work is as found, grammar and all.
I wet the world it was thirsty for knowledge, money&peace. I watered the flower that no longer simbolizes peace but now was the sign of the dude who wore it hoping he would be watered for he was (‘hungry’ has been crossed out) thirsty for love.
I wet the world to keep the leaves from getting to brown from the son. I watered him but he no longer was thirsty the lady on calvary st. gave him a drink. He died of pain not of thirst. She couldnt get the nails out because Franks hardware closes at 6.00 p.m.

I like this poem quite a lot. It seems tragic and sad. It’s interesting as is and also has the potential to become something different and interesting. It intrigues me.

Like all interesting and ‘good’ art, it has many meanings. Love, kindness, pain, rejection, christian values. I like it that calvary st might be on the way to the cucifixion – if the writer is talking about Jesus. Regards, John
