Pig as Metaphor

It’s time to speak of many things
And whether pigs have wings (Carroll)

And if upon delivery of the coup de gra’ce
As was written by Monsieur Descartes
The soul-less beasts don’t venture far

And let’s speak of………………

If after eating a farmer in its pen
This same pig
A tortured sow
Can ascend

For it happened in another poem
Leaving half the clothes
And the larger bones

And when paying dearly
For the perceived atrocity
She first cited the ambiguity
Of moral philosophy

By countering said
Monsieur Descartes
with
“I think therefore I are”

Pig as Metaphor
