I read the work of Eliot / All Michelangelo, death and cake
Tomorrow is always another day / Until the absurdity of death has its way
Over a garden hiding Buddha the ubiquitous, / The sun rises in the mist. It meanders its timeless path. / Calling to be photographed. As the eternal and fleeting meet, / Beckoning the aesthete.
And I know angels die / And I know where they lie / Where they’re buried and why
The Holocaust / Goethe’s Faust
And how I bore the philosophy / Of bar-room bores / And Socrates / As they tried to analyse the dance / Of life and death as happenstance
