I don’t think I can quite convey what I saw this day. It was raining… I was in the clouds, they were coming in waves up the mountain. My camera and lens were soaked within seconds. It was dark, misty, eerie. This tree seemed to reach out from the mist, its branches like tentacles.

Don’t you know enough to come in out of the rain? hehehe What a pretty tree! (I’m getting my 50D tomorrow!)
Thanks Jan. And no, I’d driven so far that day I wasn’t about to pack up because of rain.
I thought you had gone Nikon?

Nikon….. funny man…… hehehehhe I just got home with my new baby! Can’t play with it till the battery charges though.
I guess I’m confused. ;-) Not the first time! Buy a 2nd battery of course, and a 16 gig CF card or two… those raw files are big.

Yah I have a few CF cards so I’m okay there – but the extra battery cost 119.00!! WTH?
Really? Mine was $50 1.5 years ago… that’s a crazy price.
– John Wright
Tell me about it…. this is an expensive hobby…….
So what do you think of that 50D?
– John Wright
I love my new camera!! Got to play with it some more this weekend although it was a crappy weekend and I got a cold so didn’t play with it for long.
I hope you get over the cold soon.
– John Wright
Oh I’m okay now! Thanks John!
