Redtail Hawk portrait by

Hawk courtesy of the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia. The conservancy tries to rehabilitate injured birds and release them back into the wild, but some are too badly injured to survive on their own, and those birds are used to increase public awareness.

  • Thanks Leslie. He was captive. I used 300mm on a crop sensor… and then cropped a bit more.
