Playin' 'possum by John Wright

Playin' 'possum by

Well not quite. I took this image many years ago (anyone remember the dinosaurs?). These babies were pretty scared. They’d taken up residence under the neighbors house and my dad caught them to take them to a wildlife way-station where they could be released into the wild, away from the city. We caught their mom too, so the family stayed together.

Aww!! I don’t remember ever seeing this one before! They’re cute as little babies but vicious little nibblers when they get into your garbage!

  • thank you Jan. I totally agree, and the can be very destructive under a house.

Wonderful shot! I’ve always thought these little guys were really cute.

  • Thanks Tibby. I think so too, even though they are better off away from humans.
