Maybe I’m odd, but I found most of the overlooks along the northern section of skyline drive dull… until I turned around and looked at the forest. This was just the start of fall color, definitely not at its height yet, but a pretty drive regardless.

I need to take more time at this park and hike the trails, I know I saw a mere fraction of the park, but I only had a day available this time.
