Even though this image was created, it does hit the truth pretty close to the mark. When I was young, my dad fed a Stellar’s jay raw sunflower seeds every day at work. The bird knew him and knew my dad had seeds, and would visit him as a matter of routine. One day I had lunch with him at work and offered the bird some food from my plate… the bird ignored the tiny scrap I offered, hopped right past my hand and selected a larger morsel for himself! Thief!
