A detail of Laurel Falls, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Laurel Falls trail head (with parking) lies about 4 miles up Little River Road from the Sugarlands visitor center. The hike is 1.3 miles and only a moderate climb. As you get closer to the falls, the dropoff gets steeper so don’t let kids run amok!
Canon 20D, 17-40 f/4 L lens, Gitzo 3530 tripod with Kirk BH-1 ballhead, polarizer.
