Looks like something where you put papers in?
John Wright replied
Hi Ellen… no, no one will put paper in this.
Ellen
Maybe a heating?(if this is good english)
Can i quess more than one time?
John Wright replied
Of course you can guess. It is related to heat but not a heater.
Ranald
Whatever it is (and I am still thinking) it is a nice abstract.
John Wright replied
Thank you Ranald.
Ellen
So, i was close…..I give up, we probably dont have this in Holland.
Nice photo by the way with the blue filter!
John Wright replied
You DO have it in Holland. Anyone viewing this has at least one… ;-)
Mark Willson
Dunno if im right but it looks like a computer heat sink
John Wright replied
Exactly right. Minus the fan. The groove is where the fan attaches.
Ellen
Is it for in the kitchen?
John Wright replied
Not usually… Mark Willson got it. Computer heatsink.
Ellen
Congrats Mark Wilson!
Mark Willson
Hey thanks, took me a while to get that
Jeremy Jones
I was going to say a CD Tower!
John Wright replied
Not a bad guess at all.
Leslie Battjes
Excellent! I never would have gotten that answer, but that’s because I don’t know what a computer heatsink is! :) I love the blue and angle you used…great abstract…great macro!
I love it when you do these! :)
John Wright replied
Thank you Leslie.

Well, you really had me looking, I was thinking about the inside of a toaster, has to do with heat, but way off. I also dont know what a computer heatsink is, but a great macro and a very interesting idea to throw it out there for identification. Waiting for More.
John Wright replied
Thank you. I know this one had to throw off the non-geeks (I’m a self-confessed and proud geek, hehe). Toaster is a really interesting guess, I might just have to try photographing one.
Micki Ferguson

Now how cool is this?! Great abstract John :)
John Wright replied
Thank you Shelly… funny that you say cool, because it can get hot but the purpose is to cool something else. ;-)
