Treed

Treed

My dog treed a raccoon in the backyard one morning, many years ago. The “branch” is really the trunk of this very small tree. In other words, the weight of the raccoon bent the trunk sideways!

Treed belongs to the following groups:

Exotic Mammals, Film Photography, Nature's Wonders and United States Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints and Framed Prints

Thanks Megan, yes he was scared of the dog. I left them there just long enough to get the shot and then I brought the dog inside.

LOL! How cute is that? I love that the leaves partially hide him and he’s peeking through at you. :)

Aw this is cute! I want one!

  • John Wright replied

They are very cute, but usually not friendly. I once knew a troop of them that were very friendly however, they would come and sit with us out on the back porch every evening. I had babies snuggle up against me! I never got a picture, I was afraid of scaring them and ruining the moment, or the trust.

This one however was happy to get away from the dog once I brought the dog in (after I got the image!).

So you let your dog hold this poor critter hostage while you went and got your camera! You wicked, wicked man! ........... Can I borrow your dog sometime???? ;o)

  • John Wright replied

LOL! Actually it was my aunt’s dog… and what a piece of work. He would bolt past someone at the front door and be gone for hours, come back smelling like sewage.
