Here is ArtPearl’s original work. ArtPearl wrote along with the digital art the following: I’m often wondering about the borders between real and imaginary. This image explores the effects of reflection on perceived reality. There was only one person and one bush in the scene, the rest are reflections of it and reflections of reflections…So is she right to feel as though she is in a siege…Are the emotions of the person the same after reflections…
So How did I get to my translation, well I originally was going to take a photograph of a suitable statue from the William Ricketts Sanctuary but that was going to cost $90. So after some thought I eventually hit upon the concept of using burning matches on a water background to represent the idea of siege. Here are some Work In Progress shots.
