This is brilliant. How did you do it? Is it done using a digital pad and stylus instead of a brush and canvas? I’d be interested to see what you do with paints.

Thanks Dave. It was painted in Painter X using a Wacom Pad and Stylus. I created a reference image in Photoshop from four photos (background, archway, door and staff). The scene was then painted in Painter X adding the figure, lighting effects and textures/ornaments on the door by hand.
You wouldn’t like my paintings and I wouldn’t dare show them here they are that poor! I used to do a lot of watercolour up to around 12 years ago. Having taken it up again recently I’ve found that my ability to control the flow of paint on the paper isn’t what it was.

I feel that if you can paint using a stylus, using a brush will be a doddle. I’m not sure my hand would be steady enough to use a stylus as you do.
