Interesting modern interpretation of Art Nouveau :) (I’m a keen fan of Alfons Mucha!) And wow, 62 layers! How patient you are, John… :)

I doubt I have the patience to work with so many layers, but, it’s produced a wonderfully intricate image of gorgeous colours and amazing design. Beautiful work, John.

  • John Edwards replied

The layers are no problem really. You create the layer and layer mask and go on to the next. It’s the time to do the whole image I’m struggling with Jan. This took around 20 hours to produce in Photoshop and another 2 hours in Painter.

Nice on John. I did a Deco piece like this about 2 years ago – and yes it featured MizzD too. Mine was very much like the old Rizzla and cigarette pack ads as opposed to the realistic look. I have been looking for the psd for the piece but fear I may have lost it in one of my many failed HDs… sorry to say.

Lovely wotk though and great to see someone thinking on like lines…
