A meandering trail leads us to the covered bridge, which spans the crystal clear waters of the aptly named, Crystal River. It was built in 1970, and was constructed of 40 foot long timbers from Oregon. Remarkably, the bridge contains 220 handmade pegs.

This is beautiful and the funny thing is I thought of Wisconsin before I even opened the thumbnail!!! It reminds me of a bridge in Grant Park on the south side of Milwaukee!!!
