This is what this old house looked like before the dozers came and pushed all the old mature trees down around it,….I don`t know the age of this old house,It`s been around for sometime,….I believe that in its day it was a very nice house,….There use to be a big old barn on the place, but the wind blow it down sometime ago,….I never did get any interesting shots of the barn,… West of Watonga,Okla.,U.S.A.,..about 5 miles,…

This was a nice home in its heyday, apparently one that survived the banks, when the banks dispatched the ’dozers in the 1930s to level homes that were behind on their mortgages. It does make you wonder what the story is.

I guess it’s true … nothing is forever. Great capture of a once loved home.

The warm sunlight plays nicely with an otherwise somber scene. It’s sad to see history obliterated by dozers. Glad you caught it before it came down.

  • Thank you so very much,..
