In a mall, I am bored and nervous. It’s a sickly combination. I’m a hopeless neurotic. Love your persistent use of coffee!!!!!

  • yeah me too – they creep me out – like being trapped in Logan’s Run. Coffee is a staple for inspiration and art!

Wonderful social observation, when transversing the shopping mall the outward expression most often doesn’t reflect the inner condition.

  • Thanks Marion. Totally – strange and creepy places, I know I put an outer mask on to survive them every time.

I love the wonderful brush work here. this is so enjoyable and I don’t even know why. I know I love the handwriting and splashy wash. I think it’s because they all have almost the same expression. Like shopping mall zombies. And yet the drawing is so expressive of your feelings. love it.

  • Thanks very much John! Lovely, thoughtful words – I am always grateful.

Yes, it’s like being on the menu at MacDonald’s, you are completely processed through the experience.

  • for sure – what have we become that we aspire to this level of existence I sometimes wonder…then I eat.
