this is very deep….hope your soul isnt as wounded as the picture shows!! well painted!
thanks! and nah, am a very happy chappy!
John – this one has me stumped. It’s brilliant work, very powerful… then you say it’s a self portrait… but you are happy. Mmmmm what to say, I’ll have to come back to that.
too gorgeous of a figure to mutilate!
John Douglas dude that must really sting put some tcp or something on it.Really its good and all but dude again poor old you how did it happen and the referencing Manegna and all that St Sebastian iconism what’s happening tells use about it let it out for your own mental health, dude I am shocked not by the picture well just a bit but dude again ouch! was it an accident with a low flying hedge trimmer or something really this is tortured stuff and SnapHappy I am surprised by your comments can you not see this man is in turmoil and Herkissable, no need to remind this poor soul about his dilemma really, finally keep up the good work and we have a expression in Scotland that might help in this type of situation keep your pecker up oh on second thoughts skratch that oh I see you already have.
JohnWOW……….. that looks painful that last one. Interesting work, would expect no less from you of course
Emotional driven work! You have quite a talent! :D
the thing I love most about this work is you just put it out there, without any kind of rationalisation, and sit back and watch the reactions. And with such powerful reactions, the work is very successful.
Btw., the visualization is brilliant, you’re a genius colourist. bastid. :)
John … provocative as always …. that’s why I love your work. Give me more “jabs in the eyeballs and a kick up my perception” please. You see beyond the skill of image making.
