Thanks Susan. I guess the process of working with the dyes in areas in batik is much the same as some printmaking, not that I am familiar with many printmaking techniques.

Batik is a process for dyeing cloth – so these are dyed fabrics, a similar process to some printmaking techniques. Most well-known batiks are the Indonesian ones.
