Imagine: Images of Peace calendar
John Lennon Wall, Prague
After John Lennon’s assassination in 1980 mourners in (then) Czechoslovakia painted images of Lennon and words of love and condolence on a large inner-city wall in Prague.
The communist authorities had the wall painted over. Undaunted, the fans put up new poems and art, and thus a tradition began.
No longer painted over by authorities, the John Lennon wall is a massive artwork in progress, continually being painted over and over and densely layered with words of love and peace from individuals all over the world.
Power to the people, right on!

That’s really gorgeous. I hope you added something to the wall John : )
I tried to draw on it but my pen just dug in and chipped off a bit wouldn’t mark – so in a way I added though not a drawing – next time I will be prepared with my pencils in hand – and if you come too maybe we can collaborate :)
