Ah why does the Northern Hemisphere and the tropics tease us with such an immense collection of water.
Especially coming from South Australia, all photos that have large collections of water titilate me in special unnatural ways.
Nice shot John. Andrew
yeah Sth Aus particulalry is arid – is nice to be reminded that not all the world is a dry dustbowl. As much as I love aussie bush and the dry desert settings, think deep down I remain a water/sea/greenery lover.
the photo is so cool but i bet it was hot hot!!!
HOT and HUMID – and absolutely incredible
the only way i can describe the water is sterling!i can hear the cicadas whirring in the background!
it does seem metallic – gives a feel for the heat and wet and smells – I hope!
This is a landscape unlike any thing I have seen before. It’s stunning. Great shot John.
Brazil is vast and diverse and beautiful and I hope one day you go there Paul – YOU will LOVE it.
I must see Brazil…….. what striking skies you have captured
yes you must – perhaps we should search for our patron in the Sth Americas? :)
Well done John thank you for sharing.
Thanks Michael :)
I thnk we all desire whatever elements we are deprived of. Some Australians envy those with Rain but a friend of mine in The UK envy us because of the sunny skies that never rain. I think it speaks for more then weather though… everything in general we cannot have we always desire.
I think you’re spot on – we want what we don’t have. I like all weather so guess I am lucky in that respect. All have some beauty and inner life I love to explore.
