Oh I see images of that beautiful Latin dancer from our early 1900’s here in the US….....something about the floral display with the low shoulders and fluffed sleeves…..so beautiful! i love the tight buttons with the black ‘goth’ gloves.
both ladies have amazing style and flare! the feather headdress is outrageous!
John Douglas replied
can nver have too many flowers or feathers in a headdress! Those tight buttons certainly took some fortitude.

Fab darling- isnt amazing that it doesn’t matter what part of the world your in, a drag queen is a drag queen is a drag queen. it is also a real slice of life, a perfect moment of preparation
John Douglas replied
oh I agree – drag queens are universal! I did love this shot too – didn’t know how it would come out but think it worked ok. It wasn’t intended to a ‘photograph’ but just a record of a day – a straight couple freinds said for their wedding they wanted me in drag (which I loathe doing) and to be matron of honour – so for them I did, and later saw what a wonderful candid moment this picture captured. Almost made it worth it having all that crap on my face!
