A garden in the African City of Arusha, Tanzania, and this beautiful blossom was seen on a tree called a " Bottle brush " !
We are all able to see why !
A good friend on Red Bubble informs me the Latin name for this tree is : Callistemon Citrinus Splendens

Now THAT is a great angle to shoot this difficult but attractive flowering tree John! I have a Bottlebrush tree in a container outside my front door and have been very disinterested in using it as a model. Now you’ve inspired me. Well done!
Thanks Krys ! Do you know what the proper name is for this plant/tree ? When I was in Afrca nobody knew any name but “bottle brush” !!

Callistemon Citrinus Splendens I believe is the latin name, but there may be more than one variety of the plant. If ever you need latin names, I’m your gal! I have to research the latin name of all my animals and most plants in order to keyword them effectively. ;o) I would say I need to get out more, but maybe I’ve been out enough for a while :o)))
Thanks for the Latin ! I am impressed !

Excellent picture, John!
