An old tree stump, next to the moat around the Baddesley Clinton Manor House, England. The House and Gardens are owned and operated by The National Trust.
The gardens at Baddesley Clinton are delightful. They surround an 18th century moated manor and include formal courtyard garden, wildflower and meadow garden, woodland/lakeside walks, and stew ponds.
The walled garden dates from the early 18th century and contains a sun-dial with surrounding borders of shrub roses. Plenty more to see at Baddesley Clinton with a superb dahlia border and herb borders.
There is a Japanese style bridge over the Long Ditch linking the stewponds and nature trail areas.
