    Aye, looking canny.

They tell me that Liverpool fancy their chances to win the League this season.

0-0 against the mighty Stoke City yesterday . . . he heh…. ney chance.

    Ta ta :-)

  • John Brotheridge replied

Cheers David. I stand by my prediction of Man U again. We can seriously dent the Reds continued claims in the next few weeks. Gerrard? 3 years for assault?

It was great to see Rafa give it to Alex Ferguson the other day.

  • John Brotheridge replied

Mon morning here, just heard the Utd-Chelsea result. Yes I agree with Rafa on that one though, Man U always seem to get favourable treatment, but so do the Pool. Still say Man U will win it again.

I have to say , these place names are very difficut to pronounce have you got used to them?

  • John Brotheridge replied

Place names? Ha, these are the easy ones. There are some I can’t pronounce even when they are explained! The English names are very common, Kingston, Oxford, Christchurch etc there is even a Birkenhead! but the Maori place names are not so easy, with ‘Wh’ pronounced ‘F’ and spoken very quickly. The Girls are learning Maori at school, so they’ll be ok. Me? I’m still practicing my English. They couldn’t understand me in Manchester never mind NZ!
