I’ve been living in the Houston Area for about 20 years. I’ve done life drawing for about 18 years now and have been drawing other subjests, portraits mostly, for even longer. I’ve had my studio for about 8 years and Love it. I specialize in portraits and nudes. I mostly draw now but intend to revisit painting soon. I hire models and invite other artists into my studio to do artwork as often as I can. I’m the happiest when I can make art. I’d love to make it my full time job, but real life says you have to pay the bills first- so I have to balance doing what I love and taking care of my needs. However I cannot let other work stand in the way of my creative life either. I have been participating in my local art community volunteering for non profit art organizations, participating in art show and sales. I have sold work over the years but not enough to devote all my time to it. So I am trying to sell my work online to see if that method will be more profitable for me and allow me the time to still make art and take care of lifes daily challenges. Only recently has it become easy for me to put my art online and I am hoping it was worth the wait. I am excited about untilizing all that sites like Redbubble have to offer to me as an artist. And I hope to sell my art and have a lot of fun here!
