My interest in photography stems from my father’s enthusiasm. We always had photography magazines in the house and I enjoyed leafing through them. Admittedly it was initially for the girls, but I picked up a few things along the way and have ever since found myself trying to bring a little something extra out of each shot.
My first SLR camera was a hand-me-down from my father: his old Exacta VX IIA, version 6 as far as I can identify from my memories of it. I definitely remember the interchangeable viewfinders and brown leather case. That and the blue strap we got at the local camera store when he gave it to me.
I’ve since gone digital and have become more prolific. Join me as I explore photography’s possibilities, my own creativity and vision, and the world around me, and share what I find with you here.
