    Absolutely lovely
    You are quite right it is Grevillea robusta or Silky Oak and furniture is made from the wood of the tree. It is the largest of all the Grevilleas. This is a particularly fine photo

  • Thanks very much Laurie, I never looked real hard at these flowers before. I actually stopped to take a pic of a bird nest in the tree, but it didn’t turn out. Then I notice the flowers and though it would make a nice pic.
