What a wonderful capture! I know these are a creature of the “wild” ~ but I sense a deep bond ~ a feeling of the need to “protect their own” ~ (as we as humans do) ~ but they, through the only means they know how!!
I love this image ~ I feel it portrays many facets of the "feeling"s of this beautiful animal….
