Dear Scottish RB friend :-) Thanks for the reaction. it is appreciated!
Did some search on Google .. to conclude that the closest I have ever been to your lovely location was : Kyle of Loch alls .. around Fort William /Loch Ness and even climbed the Ben Nevis
Did Scotland all the way years ago.. via East Coast up and west Coast down ..One of the best experiences I had traveling..( many words in Scottish gealic and Dutch are the same )

Never the less.. How absolute fantastic it must be to roam on your Islands..Often they are much longer protected by there original touch..
Oh and the house your hubby build is awesome :-) (you rent the caravan next to it to Tourists??

  • John44

    John44

And on March 15 this good looking fellow managed to have his face on Red Bubble front page :

  • amanda Rae

    amanda Rae

Dear John..so nice to get your reply..i only ever got as far as the Hook of holand..but fond memories of it…the caravan is my workshop..so very messy..you my dear would be an honoured guest..the house has great views..and great company..youd be most welcome..

  • John44 replied

Ooohhhhhh my dear aRae..( is that your name ?)
How very warm and sympathetic your message is..I am moved by the kindness it conveys..
Again..Scotland is a beauty and I am told the Islands even more..
Who knows.. who knows .. :)
Than.. the Hook of Holland is by car 12 mins to my home .. closer than my way .. Kyle of Lohcals to your place is ??? a days travel ??
For now .. I say thanks so much and I am sure we bump up to each other here ..
I am ‘test driving ’ at this moment .. The last 3 weeks I have been working on my new Photo-room aneex Computer room..and this is the first message going out.. it prooves all the wires are ok ( no double Dutch mistakes) :
) .. but the screen is to far .. I am not happy with the lights
(keyboard shines reflects)and that expensive keyboard drawer under my desktop is a bummer .. oh well ..
    Warm greetings
    John
    ps
You say in Scottish for church : Kirk .. we say kerk
Kids in some parts of Holland are called : Berns ..
In Englissh a Daughter is in Scottish Dochter …like the sound of Loch.. and it sounds in Dutch exactly the same ..Oh there are so many words nearly the same .. but thats another time ok ?
    :
