Jedda

Jedda

Thought I’d put up some of my commissions in my gallery (had this one in a journal entry for a while). I was very happy with this one.

It’s a painting of my grandmother and uncles dog Jedda, who passed away. I loved her just as much as my own dogs so I wanted to get this just right.

If you’d like to find out about commissions bubblemail or email me: johdie@gmail.com

Holy moly, this looks remarkably similar to a dog in our family also named Jedda!

Wow, that is strange. The name didn’t come from an old film did it?

This is wonderful Johdie, you’ve really captured her character and expression so well – and great tones for a dark-fur coat – great! :)

Thanks very much Joanna, it was the first time I’d made a serious attempt at painting an animal.
