Visiting the Montreal Botanical Garden with fellow bubblers, last Saturday. There was a constant breeze, and the plants were in motion all the time. Fortunately, Mrs. Ladybug held fairly still on her pedestal, even though it was swaying quite a bit in the light wind.

What a great shot! I love the minimalism and simplicity of it … very nice!

  • Thank you Wanda! It took a bit of contorsions to get the bug’s front end… in front, without too many distractions in the background. LOL! At times, I was in danger of falling on my face in the middle of the flower patch!

Brilliant shot! Perfect exposure! I just love the minimalism of this image, the great detail & color as well as the balance of the ladybug on that small stem!

  • Thank you so much for your great comment, my friend!! Your words are always so encouraging and motivating!

What a great shot with such clarity and perfect color…. As Joanne says, the minimalism of this image just proves the ‘less is more’ theory.. Wonderful work.

  • Thank you very much, Katherine! I was so excited when I saw that the setting could allow me to isolage the ladybug, provided that I was able to twist my aging body sufficiently! LOL!

I am featuring this image because it is very good. This submission of yours, as opposed to other submissions of yours in this group, does NOT post a “no banners” warning on it, so I am posting one to let you know I am featuring it. Remove it if you like. Congratulations on your feature.

  • Thank you Stephanie! The other submissions are older and I forgot to remove the warning. I won’t be putting it anymore because not only have I been denied features because of it, a host has recently kicked me out of her group because I mentioned in my descriptions that I would remove any banner… Duh!

Anyhow, thank you so very much for featuring my work, I really appreciate it. And yes, the banner will stay! :-)

Delightful shot!!! Quite the balancing act!

  • Thank you Wendi! Yup, great sense of balance… especially with the wind blowing gently, but constantly. :-)
