I found this lonely dandelion puff just beside the deck in the backyard, and decided to bring it inside to play.
The effect was obtained using brightly coloured acrylic filters
I placed it in front of a white sheet of paper, behind which was my SB-600 speedlight at 1/64 used as backlighting. There was another speedlight fired from the side.
I had some translucent acrylic samples (see pic below) which I obtained from a display supplier 20 years ago.
I placed the amber one in front of the SB-600 (behind the paper background), and the reddish one in front of the other flash lighting from the side.
I believe that his could be considered as a form of light painting, don’t you?
