Redbubble posters are a lot like space travel.
In that they're completely brilliant, however unlike space travel they're quite sensibly priced.
They are a handy way to make very dull walls, ceilings and spaceships look infinitely better.
Tack them to your bedroom door, or frame one above the mantlepiece.
They're adaptable, efficient and bold and really it's amazing you've managed to go so long without picking one up.
They are printed on 185gsm semi gloss poster paper and custom cut to three
maximum sizes – A2, A1 & A0. This includes a 5mm white border
to assist in framing.
My grandmother has suffered a lot from arthritis, so do I at times. Medication helps, but for some people it’ plainly not enough and it can become very debilitating. And ordinary simple actions like holding a pen or a fork may be a real hardship.

Cool shot Johanne – how did you do this?! Hope the arthritis is not causing you (and your grandma) too much pain. I have a similar condition and so does my gma so we sympathise entirely… :)
Thank you Clare! My grandma is not longer with us but thankfully, at the end she did not feel it as much because she had Alzheimer’s disease.
As for me, it comes with flare ups of Crohn’s disease which is controlled right now with medication. What’s nice is that the medication also work on arthritis, a nice bonus.
As for the fork, I have am a jewellery artist and I used an old pair of round-nose pliers to curl the ends.

Fantastic shot Johanne….you really know how to illustrate life in a beautiful and powerful way. My partner’s Mum suffers from it too…she keeps asking when we’re going to get her a cure! (our lab also does arthritis research)
Thank you for your touching comment Ursula, it is deeply appreciated. I don’t know about a cure, but I’m on Purinethol and it helps a lot.
Great shot Johanne… ;-))
Thank you Nathalie!
Ouch Johanne…at least you’re able to control it! Yes, I think we’re a LONG way from a cure unfortunately…arthritis is such a complex disease. Thanks for mentioning the Purinethol. I’ll see if we can get it here :)
Cool shot sister! I like the representation of the pain in this capture. Very creative.
Johanne, this is a fantastic visual metaphor and abstract symbolism. It just works at so many levels. The visual parallel with the deformed hands, the implicit pain, the inability to use a simple utensil for what it was designed for, etc. I can imagine a picture like this becoming an “icon” for arthritis sufferers and fund raising campaigns. Brilliant!
Thank you George! What a great compliment, I’m glad that the implicit meaning I wanted to convey works so well, and I thank you for letting me know in such a beautiful way. :-)
I think you got the symbolism perfectly with this shot. Very, very creative!
Thank you Vikram! Taking into consideration that it’s the I feel at times, it was easy to come up with the idea… :-)
Wow! These shots are stunning. And I totally agree with George about it being a fantastic visual metaphor for the disease. I truly hope that your pain and suffering eases, if not ends very soon. Here’s hoping they find a cure soon. Kudos to all the wonderful people out there working on it.
Thank you Victoria, I really appreciate your comment.
Sadly clever !
Thank you so much! :-)
love what you have created here!!!!! BRILLIANT!!!
Thank you Zaldy, I appreciate your comment! :-)
