This is a stunning portrait..sort of a Hitchcock presense…so artistic.

  • Thank you Boyd! Wow, I had not thought about the Hitchcockness of it, but now that you mention it…

Johanne this is awesome! I agree with Boyd. Great composition and the light is perfect. Love it!

  • Thank you Shelly! The lighting was unbelievably simple… I used a little LED reading lamp in a dark room.

WOW. Awesome B&W SP. Great lighting Johanne, and great work.

  • Thank you so much Richard! That little LED reading lamp light that I used for this has become a must for me. I keep it in my camera bag and use it as as source of lighting in cases like this, but also when I go out at night to see what I’m doing. I can clamp it on my clothing and use it to light my camera when I change the settings. Last night it came in very handy when I dropped my little remote in the grass…

Fantastic lighting, but I think your eyes are what really makes it a great shot.

I had it pegged between yours and the one that got 2nd place. I knew you two would be 1 and 2. I’m happy with the winner! It really portrays what I was getting at with Studio Lighting! Well done, Johanne!!!
