Full of Good Things!
How many times have we heard our mother tell us Come on, eat it! It’s full of good things! Well, here is proof that moms are always right!

Again, this is my starting image. Please refer to Renaissance Still Life for more details on how it was made. I selected only the fruit with the elliptical marquee tool, and discarded the rest. Then I sperized with the distort filter, and scaled everything to fit into the apple. | |

To obtain the final image, I mostly stacked three layers of this image of a red apple ornament over the fruit, blended in screen mode in various opacities. Finally, I adjusted levels for each colour channel separately. |

Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Nadine! I learned by using tutorials that other people had made available on the net, so this is only Pay to the Next to me. :-)

This looks really healthy! Packe with flavor, vitamins and everything else that’s good for body, mind and soul! The water droplets look like little glass pearls. Better don’t eat them ;-).
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Peter! You’re right, they’re tiny clear plastic beads, not to be eaten, for sure! :-)
Ursula Rodgers
Wow! A clever combination of your images Jo! Well done my friend (LOL at Wendi’s comment!)
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Ursula! With my limited knowledge of English expressions, I had to look it up on the web. The first definition I came upon was more in the sense of smarty pants . A bit unsure, I kept looking, and to my relief, I finally found more flattering definitions… LOL!
Paul Wilkin
This is a clever composite. I like it it’s very strong, Johanne! The images blend very well technically and the subject matter is juicy …. mmmmm!
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Paul for this great comment! The subject matter is indeed juicy… and healthy! :-
